BIO
Hey! I'm Erica and I'm a professional triathlete from Bermuda. I have just graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Neuroscience and Spanish (Language and Literature) from the University of Colorado, Boulder!
I first competed in a triathlon when I was 5, and then mainly focused on swimming and running during high school. When I was 15 I had the opportunity to race abroad in Florida and at the end of the year I qualified for the Youth Olympics. This was a defining moment and it gave me confidence that I can really pursue triathlon. Since then I've had some pretty amazing opportunities to compete around the world in Major Events such as the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games in 2018.
Now, I am currently based in Boulder, CO training with my coach Jessica Broderick and team, Forever Endurance. I am incredibly fortunate that I can pursue my dream as a professional triathlete among a mecca of other athletes here in Boulder. Triathlon is a huge part of my life. Racing is exhilarating and it is always an honor to represent my country. It has also taken me to the most amazing places around the world; in both races and in training camps. Safe to say, I have a pretty amazing life. Check out my results below!

Beyond the "numbers" there are many other highlights from racing. To be able to produce a team in the Commonwealth Games for the Mixed Team Relay was something Bermuda, a tiny country never thought was possible. But we managed to qualify and end up 5th. It was incredible to be on a team with World Champion Flora Duffy. I also watched her win the individual event in the Games and to hear our anthem be played was, well there are no words to describe how amazing and proud I was to be from Bermuda, and the inspiration and drive I have to compete at the highest caliber.
